Remote Desktop Engineer – JPMorgan Chase & Co.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical desktop support in a Microsoft Windows environment. Responsibilities include level 1 & 2 support of hardware/software, application, and system access issues.

Serves as a liaison between clients and vendors or other technical groups to resolve LAN and desktop problems. Candidate must also have good verbal and written communication skills able to interact with LOB customers, team members and internal support teams. Strong documentation and analytical skills are required.

Articulates the business value and impact of technical and non-technical information and understands when to escalate issues. Provides effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer\vendor dialogue. Delivers project and process documentation for small to medium projects and drives compliance with structured Project Delivery Process. Must have strong technology background to understand change requests and to recommend alternate solutions.

Accurate and on-time performance of administrative functions is required including time tracking/reporting, accomplishments, inventory/asset management and managing work queue. This position will require discretion and independent thinking on a daily basis.

Qualifying candidates must possess the ability to provide quality customer service via telephone, email, instant message, and trouble tickets in a fast paced environment as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks at once while delivering results

REQUIREMENTS:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , any field.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Hardware or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 yrs previous technical customer service experience
* Microsoft and A+ training a plus
* Technical skills: Asset/Inventory Management, 24×7 Customer support and Service Delivery Model, Business Application knowledge. Customer Service, Infrastructure product knowledge, IT Risk management, Technical problem resolution, MS Office, MS Visio, Lotus Notes, Active Directory and Strong Windows OS knowledge
* Ability to communicate effectively in both speech and writing, including understanding US dialects.
