PROJECT MANAGER
(National Capital Reg - Pasig City)
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the assigned project team(s)
Responsible for project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion
Develop and manage project scope, budget and schedule including tracking of project change requests when changes are necessary
Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management
Identify and communicate risks, perform project risk assessments and work with stakeholders and project teams to develop risk mitigation plans
Ensure appropriate project deliverables are created and approved as needed
Ensure project compliance with existing PMO methodology and processes
Participate in efforts to develop and improve software development processes
Provide accurate and timely data for all monthly close and forecasting activities
Maintain project website
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
At least three (3) years experience in managing software development projects, preferably gained from a software development company.
Demonstrable knowledge in writing statement of work, project plans, project schedules, risk contingency plans, and project status reports.
Proficient in the use of MS Project
Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and processes, from project initiation to deployment.
Very good interviewing skills to talk with project stakeholders about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information; analytical skills as well to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and decompose high-level information into details, distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
Experience working with B2B and B2C e-commerce sites is an advantage.
PMI certification is a plus.
