NETWORK and TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (Makati & Laguna Area)
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline with an advanced degree preferred.
Technical and non-technical verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish user trust and confidence in the group’s knowledge and concern for users’ business needs
Familiarity with LAN/WAN on multi-platform environments and desktop knowledge is required, including from among the following:
Desktop: Windows XP, Internet Explorer, MS Office Suite, Intranet, Visio, MS Project
Anti-Virus: McAfee, Norton, network firewalls
Networking: Active Directory, WINS, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, IPX, SPX, VPN
Structured cabling
Familiarity with Cisco Routers and Switches configuration
3 to 5 years of related experience in group(s) responsible for technical services for hardware/software engineering, and production support of the areas listed above
Strong computer and network operations experience.
Experience within data processing/command center/help desk environment.
Not over 30 years old
