PROFILE:
The ideal candidate for Priceline Travel Services Specialists (TSS) will have a minimum of 1 year of airline and / or travel agency experience. The TSS will perform customer support services within the company’s Customer Support and Airline Reservations Systems to ensure all service level targets are met, including the following primary responsibilities: processing schedule changes, handling outbound customer and/or airline phone calls, e-mail, processing airline ticket cancellations due to schedule changes, processing miscellaneous transactional work queues and problem solving for the Company’s Airline and Vacation Package products with the end goal of customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Monitor and work schedule changes in accordance with prioritized service levels, including re-protection/re-booking customers when necessary.
Work with carriers (airlines) to resolve schedule change issues.
Problem-solve customer schedule change concerns.
Follow company and airline policies and procedures to bring resolution to customer issues.
Achieve all service level targets.
Strive to meet and exceed quality and productivity performance targets.
Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned by Priceline.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER SKILLS:
Minimum one-year airline travel industry experience or travel school certification
GDS Knowledge; World span or Saber preferred
Call center and/or customer service experience required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, MS Office
Commitment to customer service
Strong typing skills
Strong familiarity with the Internet; ability to navigate between multiple applications.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (Ability to pass priceline’s English proficiency / communication skills assessment prior to entering product training and again prior to handling calls.)
High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent travel industry experience preferred.
