Responsibilities:
* Represent the organization and develop vital partnerships with key players.
* Perform all business development activities for the assigned clients by developing a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business needs
* Generate leads for sales of services and products.
* Ensure that opportunities are properly qualified and are focused on repeatable and manageable opportunities.
* Develop proposals that are responsive to the client’s business requirements.
* Ensure that proposals are submitted to the clients within the specified and or reasonable time period.
* Close sales on services and products.
* Manage customer expectations, handle customer issues and concerns
* Participate in account reviews on a regular basis
* Provide account status and forecasts to management.
* Organize and execute marketing activities of the department
* Participate/attend in different marketing activities of the software development and testing industries and other related industries
* Perform basic selling tasks: prospecting, establishing rapport, doing the presentation, uncovering needs, generating leads, relating benefits to product features, handling objections, issues and concerns, negotiating, closing and making a follow up.
Requirements:
• Marketing and sales experience (preferably in a consulting/services environment).
• Proven ability to establish a network or relationships and set-up meetings with decision-makers and influencers at IT corporations, particularly in the software testing industry.
• Proven track record of reaching and or exceeding benchmark set in business development.
• Experienced in creating and analyzing financial reports and statistics.
• Ability to provide inputs to develop sales and marketing plans along the software testing industry and related industries.
• Database management experience
• Ability to support high-impact “first” meetings with prospective clients with customized research identifying prospect’s issues and opportunities.
• Bachelors Degree, any major. MBA or a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust.
• Excellent organizational and database-management skills.
• Excellent research skills, including the use of the Internet.
• Demonstrated initiative and determination to persist.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Self motivated individual
