Financial Analyst (Hyperion Essbase) - Alabang

Responsibilities:
Measures performance against key metrics/plans and analyzes variance to provide management with relevant and timely information regarding revenue, expense management, performance to plan, productivity analysis, headcount reporting, etc.
Performs highly complex financial analysis across regions, as well as operations as a whole
Prepares monthly and quarterly analysis comparing results to prior periods, forecast, and annual plan. Provides management with explanations, recommendations and/or action plans for results
Assists in quarterly revenue and expense forecasts for region with company consolidation and by client run-rates
Performs work streams and generates annual Operating Plan reflecting both operational and performs analysis to improve expense management, data automation and reporting
Documents all processes and procedures for monthly close, forecasting and planning.
Improves predictability of Daily Business Report, and maintains reporting tool.
Ensures a smooth monthly close process and compliance with APAC financial guidelines and correct application of GAAP.
Processes required journal entries, establishing necessary accruals, achieving month end reporting deadlines, and reconciling reported numbers on a monthly basis.
Provides reconciliation of all operations balance sheet items
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
Required language(s): English.
Must be willing to work nigh shift.
Proficiency with spreadsheet and database applications in a Windows environment required. Experience with Hyperion a plus.
Strong analytical and communication skills required.
Ability to prioritize.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports and legal documents.
Ability to effectively present information to peers and senior management.
Ability to work with peers and senior management across the organization.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Muntinlupa City.
Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
