Financial Analyst

Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 6 months related experience.
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of financial or accounting principles, practices and procedures.
Knowledge of related financial/accounting policies.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in PC and/or mainframe based systems and software. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
Customer Care financial experience a plus
Experience working with sales related financial modeling a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs basic activities in support of various financial functions, such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment.
Coordinates with all levels of management within ACS and outside vendors, to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts and similar complex financial matters.
Provides analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit or division.
Reviews financial data received from managers for inclusion in indirect and forward pricing rate package submission to the government.
Plans, coordinates and executes policy implementation applicable to the installation of improved financial operations.
Provides specialized technical analysis to determine present and future performance.
Directs the development and implementation of new concepts and techniques for financial information analysis.
