Job Description:

 ·         Provide support to both external and internal customers, partners and prospective customers by taking ownership of and resolving Application specific customer service requests. Primary duties are to interpret, diagnose and resolve application related issues & requests.

·         Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organization’s applications by providing solutions, workarounds, advice and/or recommendations in a quick and timely manner with the aim of eliminating recurrences and reduce calls to the help desk.  Build knowledge base to allow for quicker resolution timeframes.  Meet all defined SLAs based on case type.

·         Provide high quality customer service. Promotes a professional help desk image and sells the value of the help desk. 

Qualification:

 ·         Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

·         Strong verbal and written English is a must.

·         Strong Customer Service skills.

·         1 year call center experience a must.

·         1 year Information Technology customer service related work is required.

·         Minimum 1 year experience in database programming or technical support with Oracle or MS SQL Server Database applications.

·         Intermediate or better competency level in Transact SQL or PL SQL.

·         Thorough understanding of relational database concepts and their relevance to applications design and support.

·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (2000/XP/Vista/2003) & Applications

·         Basic Networking Skills. (VPN, LAN, WAN and wireless technologies)

·         Strong knowledge of personal computer hardware equipment.

·         Experience support business applications (including enabling user access, basic desktop troubleshooting, strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve customer issues)

·         Experience in usage of any Ticketing system.

·         Willing to work on shifting schedules.

·         MCP (Windows Server) / A+ Certification is an advantage
