Mainframe Operations Support Manager
(National Capital Reg – Eastwood Libis Quezon City)

Responsibilities:

* • Ensure problem management processes identify core issues and action plans are developed and executed to resolve the issue.
* • Proactively manage the application teams to resolve repetitive errors.
* • Ensure the proactive management of the environments to resolve potential issues before causing customer impact.
* • Provide continuous improvement and initiate improvement projects.
* • Accept ownership and actively progress the resolution of problems.
* • Ensure the production environments and standards are improved.
* • Represent the group and/or Data Centre at project meetings and to the various development and product groups.
* • Support system software upgrades and/or infrastructure changes as required.
* • Ensure that all documentation is maintained and is compliant with bank procedures and standards and will withstand internal/external audit.
* • Gain and maintain technical capabilities to ensure effective support both for the Data Centre and the business.
* • Provide out of hours on-call support.

Requirements:

* 1. At least a 5 years managerial experience
* 2. At least 3 years working experience as a Production Controller in Data Center Operations.
* 3. Able to demonstrate a wide range of skills with a number of products across mainframe or mid-range systems.
* 4. Essential Technical Skills:TSO, JCL, TWS, CHANGEMAN, CICS, ConnectDirect, DFDSS, MVS, JES, VTAM, VSAM, DB2 and IBM utilities, MS Office, REXX, CLIST, TWS/FTA’s, UNIX, FDRABR, DFSMS.
* 5. Technically inclined with interest in operations in the area of job scheduling.
* 6. Have an eye for details, process oriented, and possess good interpersonal skills.
* 7. Independent, self-starter and with the ability to work within a team environment.
* 8. Ability to work under pressure.
* 9. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff.
