We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Web Designer / Graphic Artist who thinks out of the box. This is a tremendous opportunity to join one of the fastest growing technology sectors working with an industry leading company. The ideal candidate must live and breathe design and should possess a desire to stay on the cutting edge of web technology. He/She should be more of a designer than a programmer and be capable of designing websites across different industries. The candidate will be responsible for providing web design, banner ad design, production and maintenance for both internal and client’s websites. He/She should have a strong understanding of “white hat” techniques in Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 and know how to incorporate design with search friendliness. The candidate should also have well developed technical knowledge and a desire to continually learn the latest technologies and online marketing trends. Success in this role requires a combination of technical and marketing savvy and persuasion which enables him/her to scope the landscape, define a vision & strategy, win acceptance of that strategy, and execute against the approved plan.
* ?Must have 2-3 years of web design experience
* Must provide a link showing a strong, updated online portfolio. Applicants without this will be ignored.
* Must have knowledge in grid layouting, web usability, SEO friendly design, and proper spacing and margins. Must also have good typographic skills and possess an innate aesthetic visual sense
* High level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, CSS
* Knowledge in web-based programming languages (such as PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript and/or MySQL) is a plus
* Open to change and able to adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
* Proven experience in effectively managing multiple projects
* Ability to handle jobs from concept and design to completion
* Work with the Team leader and/or Project Manager to efficiently manage project scheduling and priorities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well independently and on a team
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with web design focus
* Willing to work in Makati
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status
