Business Analyst

Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
• Build MIS/metrics to measure operational/financial performance
• Develop ongoing (daily/weekly/monthly) reporting and review processes
• Produces and distributes daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and reviews
• Develop ongoing reporting for the COO to monitor, analyze, predict, and act on country performance.
• Acts as ambassador for the COO / Global Solutions working closely with all lines of business to monitor performance
• Partners with Finance on financial structure, budgeting and forecasting
• Develop staffing models, capacity plans and seat utilization. Fully understands its dynamics and the site’s productivity performance against the assumptions in the model.
• Assist with the globalization demand planning across the organization
• Early warning to the site management of potential problems, issues, etc.
• Periodically takes leadership role in planning and tracking change initiatives.
• Analyzes and interprets data, reporting unusual trends.
• Provides clear and concise analysis to the management team.
• Recommends and implements ways to streamline and automate reporting processes to save time and resources.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business or related preferred. MBA preferred.
• Essbase, SQL queries, Access, Info One
• 3-5 years experience in operations management
• 3-5 years experience in the development of management reporting and performance analytics
• Basic leadership skills and experience.
• Exposure to and ability to learn basic database concepts and ad-hoc data query basics.
• Strong math and financial skills.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong PC skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Meets deadlines.
• Demonstrates the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and issues.
• Functions well in fast-paced, changing environments.
• Ability to work well with people at various professional levels and abilities.
• Exemplifies an environment focused on quality customer service and production.
• Independent logical problem solver; analytical ability to synthesize data and project outcomes.
