AIX UNIX Administrator – Call Center Jobs Taguig City

Responsibilities:
* Serves as a System Administrator providing UNIX system administration, maintenance, and customer support for critical 7×24x365 systems.
* Administer standalone and network installation, file system management, backups, process control, user administration, and device management. Responsible for resolving a wide variety of complex system failures, troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems, and monitoring and addressing Service Center trouble tickets as required.
* Oversee and coordinate hardware functions such as hard drive removal, print server configuration, performance optimization, and research and installation of current patches, where applicable including the installation and support printers and storage peripherals
Requirements:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong customer focus – excellent interpersonal skills
* Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related technical discipline or equivalent experience. A minimum of three years experience in UNIX sy Must have knowledge of IT concepts such as TCP/IP, IT security concepts and practices; interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
* Knowledge and practical experience with: AIX, SUN Solaris, Linux, LDAP, Site Minder, MS minimum security baseline configuration, IIS installation, FTP, Cisco Load Balancing configuration.
* Systems administration required. Knowledge of Solaris/AIX and Linux required
